Winter Pruning Demonstration

Sunday 6th February 2022
February 6th 10:00 am
Memorial Orchard, Princess Elizabeth Hospital (Opposite Day Patient entrance)
Limited Numbers - please let us know if you would like to attend by clicking here.
Pruning correctly is important if you are to get the best from your garden plants.
The principles that we will demonstrate can also be applied to other trees and shrubs.
We’ll be starting with the basics, but please bring your secateurs if you would like to have a go!
This event is part of a planned series of demonstrations and talks. We would like to know which aspects of gardening would be of interest for future events.
These could include talks about the best plants to use in various situations, trying more exotic species to take advantage of our changing climate,
use of succulents and other plants needing less water, demonstrations of how to take cuttings or seed sowing, summer pruning of fruit trees and ornamental shrubs, and so on.
We would love to know what you would like us to include.
