Friends of Floral Guernsey

The Friends of Floral Guernsey is a new venture organised by Floral Guernsey. This new group has been established for ‘like-minded’ people with an interest in supporting Floral Guernsey with the many community activities it runs throughout each year.

Your role
By joining the Friends of Floral Guernsey you will have the choice of being added to the volunteer list and contacted to see if you can participate in the coming event OR becoming a ‘silent’ member (joining but not added to the volunteer list). Please note that ALL members will have access to the benefits listed below —please identify your choice by completing the tick boxes on the membership form.

The Friends of Floral Guernsey can support us in many ways assisting with the many practical elements of the events eg:
Acting as stewards on the entrance gates
-Serving refreshments
-Helping with setting up on the event day
-Assisting with various children’s gardening events

The benefits of becoming a ‘Friend’
-10% discount* from the following garden centres on production of your signed ’Friends’ membership card – Queux Patio Plants, Guernsey Gardens, Stan Brouard, Kings Mills Garden Centre, Le Friquet Garden Centre and Earlswood (please note that the 10% discount only applies during normal trading conditions—not during sale periods—and is only applicable to garden products)

-Volunteers gain free entry to some of the many events.
-Advanced receipt of brochures by post or email prior to the spring, summer and autumn festival weeks.
-To meet other like-minded individuals

Why Join?
The wealth of projects and activities that Floral Guernsey organises throughout the year is due to dedication of the council, the community groups and the support and effort of its volunteers. Without your help, Floral Guernsey would be unable to maintain and develop these important floral events throughout Guernsey and the Bailiwick.
